The Deputy Commissioner is the Head of the District Administration which monitors and co-ordinates entire developmental works in the interest of the people of the district. The District Administration maintains overall law and order with the help of the Administrative Officers and the Police force. The District Administration issues SC/ST certificates, Domicile Certificates, PRC, Excise Licence etc The District Administration administers justice through settlement of judicial cases
